The LBI project is about a simple
educational system to support medical
training programs, which will help
the students and graduates, to accelerate
the improvement of diagnosis skill,
for interpreting various types of
medical images such as radiographs
or pathologic photomicrographs.The
system consists of a database application.
The data should be categorized in
three different levels as Category,
Subcategory and Case. In a defined
Case may store four different text
fields under the topics of History,
Clinic, Diagnosis and Comment plus
numerous numbers of images. It can
improve and reinforce medical students'
and graduates’ skills in analyzing
images and therefore less bias in
diagnosis. The design of the system
serves as a model for self-evaluation
of interpreting skills in medical
images.
User can add, modify or delete any
information inside the database, using
the application. The beta version
of the application started to be used
in the Tehran University of Medical
Sciences, Dental School, Tehran Iran.The
application is written by Java Programming
Language, and using MS Access database.
Here you may see some snapshots, if
you would like to test the demo version,

The project can be expanded to serve
more fun to the clients like a serious
